HYPO-ALLERGENIC CONTACT POINTS
Our hypoallergenic stainless steel contact points are made with a higher percentage of chromium and a lower percentage of nickel. Hypoallergenic stainless steel is considered safe for those canines with metal allergies due to its low nickel content.
It is important to note that while hypoallergenic stainless steel is considered safe for dogs with metal allergies, it may not be suitable for all dogs. Some dogs with extreme metal allergies may still experience an allergic reaction to the small amount of nickel present in our hypoallergenic stainless steel contact points.
Symptoms of an allergic reaction may consist of irritation, redness, hair loss, or sores. In the event of an allergic reaction, it is advisable to discontinue use of the product until the symptoms subside and consider switching to a titanium hypoallergenic contact point or comfort pad.
